About Bagimu Pre and Primary School.
At Bagimu our chore aim has always been to improve the lives of pupils and their parents through a concerted effort of cooperation with our teachers and the community at large.
Our wider mission is to create a warm, loving, secure environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, self-confidence and independence among our pupils so they may become role models of leadership, peace and economic excellence.
Our commitment to supporting pupils, their families and the wider community was the foundation block when the dream of setting up Bagimu was realized.
Bagimu is run the Christian Motto of “With God I can”.
Bagimu was Co-founded by Mr and Mrs James Kabengwa after gauging the community needs, with hopes of transforming learners into better citizens of a country with high rates of illiteracy.
We, therefore look at our learners as individuals with personal strengths and challenges, likes and dislikes, hence procuring specialized teachers to nurture the pupils into candles that will shine forever within the larger national community.
We recognise that parents play a key role in the early child development and we, therefore, always involve them in school activities such as speech day, academic day, sports day, and visiting days. We also keep in constant communication with the parents to give them regular updates on matters concerning the learners.
The success of Bagimu depends on a team of committed teachers and support staff.
Our guiding principles point to learners’ potential whereby we strongly believe that every child should be free of any activity that brings pain and causes injury. Rather we believe in exploiting every child’s potential for skills development beyond their entrance level.
We are also guided by functional communication and first educators whereby we believe parents must and should be involved in every step a child makes.
